Why Choose SMP?

Permanent effects
The treatment lasts several years, with only a touch-up required every 2-4 years to keep it fresh.

Undetectable
Most people have absolutely no idea this even exists. Live your life without worrying!
WHAT IS SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION?
Scalp micropigmentation (SMP) is a highly effective treatment for people experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, or scalp scarring. By replicating the look of natural hair follicles, SMP creates the illusion of fuller hair and can restore confidence quickly—without surgery, medication, or long recovery times.
When carried out by an experienced practitioner, SMP delivers a natural-looking result that blends seamlessly with your existing hair, whether you keep it short or have longer hair. It can be customized specifically to your skin type, hair color, and style preferences, giving you the perfect hairline or adding the appearance of greater density where it’s needed.
Unlike hair transplants, which can lead to patchy growth and scarring, SMP offers consistent, natural results that last for years with minimal maintenance. Some clients choose occasional touch-ups or hairline adjustments over time, but the results remain sharp and realistic.
At Scalp Evolution, we provide scalp micropigmentation in Leeds using techniques that stand apart from other clinics. Every treatment is designed to achieve your desired outcome, ensuring your look appears authentic and undetectable—just like real hair follicles.
THE BENEFITS OF SMP
Regardless of the pattern or cause of your hair loss, SMP can give you a modern, youthful look that will attract the right kind of attention. Clean, crisp, and contemporary describes the SMP look. After a course of Scalp Evolution SMP treatments you will enjoy:
> Concealment of scarring from failed hair transplants, including both the strip and follicular unit extraction styles of surgery.
> Camouflage for burns, birthmarks, and scars.
> The appearance of a full head of hair.
> A young, natural hairline or more conservative receded look
> Total and lasting concealment of the symptoms of alopecia, regardless of severity (Danny has experienced this personally).
> When combined with pre-existing hair transplant results, SMP can create the appearance of additional, lasting density.
SMP works for all hair and skin tones. Regardless of your individual situation, Danny is committed to helping you to achieve your individual cosmetic goals with the empathy and attention to detail that could only come from a fellow sufferer of hair loss. From his thousands of clients served, Danny has cultivated a sensitivity to his clients’ needs that is unrivalled in the industry. He will provide you with legitimate advice and technical guidance through every stage of the treatment.
A REAL CHANGE
Hair loss can be a terrible thing to endure for both genders. It can impact confidence and make sufferers feel as if they are becoming old before their time. Some have been ridiculed and abused, and more still have effectively rejected themselves by shying away from social interaction because of their condition. It’s time to take your life back. Hair loss was never a choice, but SMP is one decision that can put you back in control of your appearance for good.
If you are like many of Danny’s clients, you have experienced firsthand the frustrating experience of wasting thousands on pills, surgeries, and hair pieces, only to have unsatisfactory results. Unlike other so-called “solutions,” the only side-effect of SMP is confidence.
If all of this seems too good to be true, fortunately, it isn’t. Danny expects you to take nothing on faith, as he has his own personal results, along with scores of before and after photos from his other clients to show you what you can expect. SMP, for many people, is nothing short of the beginning of a new life.
A STYLISH DECISION
A shaven head is currently the world’s most fashionable hairstyle. Everyone from chief executives, to Hollywood actors, to professional athletes have been seen sporting this look. Public figures, men and women alike, have been embracing this modern and clean decision, even in the absence of hair loss! There is no need to suffer in silence when you can join the ranks of the chic and progressive. Following your 2-3 SMP treatments, no one will be the wiser about your hair loss, and you will be free to live life without restrictions.
THE PROCEDURE
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) simulates a shaved/buzzed look of hair using a tattooing process to create the illusion. The process is incredibly detailed, and this is the main reason that the procedure must be broken up over multiple sessions. SMP does not leave any scars, but it can produce mild redness of the skin that can lasts between 12-48 hours. The gaps between the two to three sessions are usually a week in duration, this allows time for the skin to heal, giving Danny a better view of your scalp on subsequent visits for best coverage. It’s a sophisticated and exacting process, and your treatment sessions may take 2-4 hours depending on coverage needed.
MEET THE EXPERT
ANA GABRIELA
Ana Gabriela is a Scalp Micropigmentation technician with over 8 years of experience. She was first introduced to the treatment back in early 2014. After a 12 month apprenticeship under Danny, Ana has sharpened her skills and now is regarded as one of the best technicians in the world.
REAL RESULTS
Is this the same as a tattoo?
The process itself is similar to that of a tattoo but with some key differences. The needles, machine and pigment we use are designed specifically for Scalp Micropigmentation. Traditional tattoos are placed 5 plus lawyers into the skin where as our Scalp Micropimentation procedure is placed 2 layers into the skin allowing the pigment to hold its follicle like shape.
What is the cost of the procedure?
Prices are quoted on case by case basis, however you can expect to pay between £600-£3000. Prices are based on current stage of hair loss and treatment time required.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. For more information, click here: https://www.unitedmedicalcredit.com/start-an-application/
How long will the treatment sessions take?
The average Scalp Micropigmentation session is likely to last between 2-4 hours depending on treatment needs. The first 10-15 minutes of your session will be used for paperwork; the next 15-30 minutes will be used to discuss style needs, color selection and hairline positioning. The remaining time is used to perform the procedure and issue after care guidelines.
Is it painful?
No, most clients experience no pain to mild discomfort. The average client has expressed the pain level to be 1-2 out of 10.
Is SMP only for hair loss?
No, scalp micropigmentation isn’t only for hair loss. It can also camouflage scalp scars, improve the look of thinning hair, add density for longer hair styles, and create a perfect hairline. SMP works for different skin types and is tailored to deliver natural results for each client.
How will I look immediately after?
You will see results immediately, however you will experience a little redness to the skin that will subside within 12-48 hours.
What is the after care?
For the first 3-4 days following your treatment sessions you will be required to keep all forms of moisture away from the treatment area, this will mean avoid showering the area and also refrain from exercise. After the 3-4 days you can go back to normal activities.
